Nya and Salva

One character trait that best describes Nya is that she is courageous. She is courageous because she walks two times a day far away from home. She does this everyday for seven months in the dry season to fetch water for her family. 

One word to describe Salva is that he is determined. He is determined because he walked through the Akobo Desert when he was only a child. He thought in his mind that he cannot slack or complain that he is tired, that he must keep going and not give up. He was determined to find his family.


I personally think I am a kind person. I always think about other peoples feelings. I like to make people feel better. When someone is sad or down I like to cheer them up or to make them laugh.
I want to be that type of person that someone comes to when they are going threw something. I want to be the person someone comes to if they need to talk or if they need comfort.
