Nya, Salva, and me

         One Character trait that describes Nya is hard working. Hard working describes Nya because she works very hard for 8 hours to walk back and forth to get water for her and her family. In the book it say that she walk 8 hours everyday to make sure that her family has enough water to live.


       One Character trait that describes Salva is scared. Scared describes Salva because he is scared that he was scared that he was never going to see his family again because of the war. He was also scared of the lions because one of the lions ate is friends.


       One Character trait to describe myself is Responsible. I would say that describes me because i am a responsible person most of the time and if I have to do something i do it.

An obstacle i faced

      An obstacle that I have faced in my life is around the end of 7th my mom and dad were getting a divorce. It was pretty hard because it seemed like everything happened so fast and out of nowhere. I was pretty sad around that time but i got through it because i have friends that helped me get through it. I also could talk to them about what was happening. Some of my friends actually went through the same thing so it was good to have people that could relate to what was happening. I had to go to this class downtown for kids 12 to 16 with parents getting divorce and i had to go by myself because my sister is 18 so she didn't  have to go. It was pretty boring and i didn't know anyone. The only really good part was that we got to watch a movie and eat food. I also talk about it with my sister and mom witch also helped me overcome that obstacle.
