Let me tell you about my family. I have had a rough life. When i was a child, i really never had what you call "good parents". They would always fight in fount of me even when i was like two years old. I would always see my dad punching my mom and my mom spitting at my dad, but it was a normal everyday thing for me. I just had to watch because we didn't have a TV. One day, my dad was fighting with my mom and he grabbed her head and threw it into a toaster. i was so scared it would be me next. My mom was bleeding and wasn't responding for about 3 hours. i didn't know what to do. this happen a lot until they got a divorce. she would drink until she would end up in the hospital. he would hit her till she was all black and blue. He used drugs right in front of me but i just had to watch because i was just 5. then i went to live with my grandma. it was ok. i still got to see my mom, but my dad was in jail. untill, my mom would stop paying child support , stop calling, stop showing up. I stiil have nightmares that she is gonna take me away. i feel so scared on streets. i feel so lonley. i fell sad everyday. Nothing can help me. I havent seen my mom in 9 years. my dad is better. he has a girl friend. but im just here. trying to smile.

Nya is caring for getting water by her self and going through all the danger through the walk. in the book it says that she walked al log way just to get water for her family.This is related because she would get just a little bit of water for her family.
Salva is sad or depressed because people are dying. In the book it said that everyone he was with was dying. This is related because when people die you are usually sad.
One trait for me is caring because i love to help the disabled. I help disabled people 3 days a week and have fun with then.

Paragraph 1: Nya first trait is she is hardworking because she go fetch water every day or twice a day if it is dry season. She walk 8 hours everyday to fetch water and with no shoes so that is stuff. I pick hardworking cause is not only fetching water is being there for your family.

A word to describe Nya is Strong because she had to walk miles and miles to get some water every day in hot water by herself with heavy container that carries her water.

Patient describes nya because she has to walk for hours and hours just to get water, in order to do that she has to have patience. "no nya would make her second trip to the pond. To the pond and back- to the pond and back- nearly a full day of walking all together" that takes patience.

Nya Is very courageous. She has showed so much braveness in the novel were reading. her compassion stands out. She cares so much for her family every day by carry stuff for her own family. She cares about her family so much that she goes for 8 hours a day just to get essential stuff for her family

One character trait for Nya is that she is patient. one reason I know that she is patience and loyal to her people. One example that Nya is patience is that she walked for long times to get water to help her family and it took 4 hours to walk there plus walking back with gallons of water with her so 8 hours of walking for her family survival.

The best trait for Nya is hard working. I believe this because she was walking (8 hours) all the way down to the lake and back, 2 times a day. This supports my claim because you have to be strong and hardworking to be able to walk (8 hours) to the lake and come back carrying water.

I am independent i like to do my work along, i don't like peoples help unless i need it. an example of this is when my parents split up i didnt like peoples help dealing with it i wanted to cope with it by myself.
