Nya, Salva, and me

         One Character trait that describes Nya is hard working. Hard working describes Nya because she works very hard for 8 hours to walk back and forth to get water for her and her family. In the book it say that she walk 8 hours everyday to make sure that her family has enough water to live.


       One Character trait that describes Salva is scared. Scared describes Salva because he is scared that he was scared that he was never going to see his family again because of the war. He was also scared of the lions because one of the lions ate is friends.


       One Character trait to describe myself is Responsible. I would say that describes me because i am a responsible person most of the time and if I have to do something i do it.

The character trait that best describes nya is that she is hard working. in the story it says that she has to walk far from her home and comes back at dark.

   a character trait that describes salva is perseverance i chose this one because his village got attacked and lost many friend but still kept going and not giving up.

Nya and salva

   One Character trait that best describes Nya is strong. One example that explains this trait is Nya does is goes to the pond to fetch water for her family 2 times a day for 7 months in the dry season and eight hours a day.
    One character that best describes Salva is Brave. He has to live/survive all by him self,  he now has no one to spend time with or has no one to be with because his friend Marial was killed by a lion and his uncle was killed by Nuer tribe.. He's Brave because he has to do everything by himself with other Dinka men.

   One character trait that describes me is Intelligent. One example is i always do my work and get it done, i also have good grades. I am Intelligent

One character trait to best describe Nya is responsible. One thing in the story she did was fetch water from the pond for her family. She walked eight hours everyday. That proves shes responsible because she has to take care of the water for eight hours straight.

One character trait that best describes Salva is independent. One thing he does in the story is he lives by himself. He lost his friend to a lion. That proves hes independent because he doesnt live with anyone and stays by himself.

one character trait that best desribe's me is hard working. one thing i do is play sports every time i get a chance to and work hard in school to get good grades to make my mother proud. that proves i'm hard working because I try my best at everything I do and work as hard as I can to get what i need.

NYA SALVA AND MYSELF

the character trait that most describes nya is independent. and i say this because she gets the water all by herself and doesnt want any help.in the book it tells us that nya gets the water by herself. a trait that best discribes salva is mature. i say this because he always stays strong even though alot of bad things happens to him and doesnt act like a little kid. a trait that describes me is brave because i tried something that im scared of.

One character trait that describes Nya is strong because she walks and walks for miles and hours she even takes her sister and a bucket of water.When shes done putting water in there bucket they have to walk back this shows shes strong because caring everything is an exercise.

   One character trait that describes Salva is brave. He has too live by yourself and has no one to lean on foe help, he lost everyone including his best friend Marial to a lion.
   
   One character trait that describes me is Kind. One example is I put everyone else I care for before myself i make sure everyone is happy, and I do everything in my power to bring a smile to their face.

The traits that Nya has are that she is responsible because she has to get up every morning and collect water for her family .she is also hard working because she has to walk to the pond in the hot sun and then walk back home with the jar of water she is caring with her.                                                               the traits that Salva has is that he is scared because his family is gone and his friend is also gone and they are moved out of the camp and being shot at they also have to cross the river. he is also brave because he had  to travel on his own with out any ones help because they all didn't trust him.         the trait that go's with me is being creative because i like to draw a lot in class when i see some thing that looks cool i try to draw it. i also like to see other peoples drawings and then i draw it in the way i draw because that's how i learn how to draw and grow over the years and i have been drawing when i was only 5 years old that's why i think i'm creative.  

Nya's personality is described by the word perseverance. She walks back and forth for hours. When she's walking, she steps on thorns because she does not have shoes. She keeps going. This shows she is persistent because she met an obstacle and she overcame it. 

A character trait that describes Salva is strong. He lost all of his family and had to walk through different countries. At the river he almost got killed but he kept going. It shows he's strong because even though he lost so many family members and almost got killed, he didn't give up.

The word that best describes me is leader. I am a Leader of SOAR. I am on Student Council and FCCLA. I am always chosen to be the leader of the group in class. I keep people on track so we can get our work done.

A long walk to water

One character trait that best describes Nya is determined. Nya walks every morning to get water. This reveals Nya is determined because the walk back and forth for water is a long walk that takes all morning.

One character trait that best describes Salva is brave. Salva walk a long distance with no one he knew for the first quarter of his trip. This reveals Salva is determined because because of how young he was he had to try hard to keep himself with any group he meets.

One character trait that best describes me is patient. I wait for my turn for activities and functions involving other people. I don't need to go first but it doesn't mean I don't want to do the activity.

One character trait that best describes nya is brave because you can tell in the story that nya can carry lots of things and she don't care how much it weight.

One character trait that best describes salva is a leader because she is always doing something right and making the plans.

One character trait that best describes me is kind because i always help people.

    The first character trait that best described Nya is she a hard working because she walks to water 2 times a day that is pretty far form her house. 

     The second character trait that best described Salva is he is a perservent gut because he gets pushed back and still try's to get out of South Sudan. 

      Finally the last is me and i'm brave because i broke my arm so many times and yeah i had to do many thing with my broken hand ad stuff.

                                           I think nya is a leader because she got all the water for her family and was walking like all day


I think salva is loyal because he never left his group and tries his best to take care of everyone


I think myself is trustworthy because I'm always doing right

Nya is a hard working girl for her family how she gets water for them everyday she works and works for them and keep them healthy and not die of thirst without Nya the family would die from thirst so they better be thankful that the have a wonderful daughter.

Salva is scared of being alone that's why he is trying to find his mom and he is also trying to be stronger and be more non scared of the future that lies ahead for him.

I'm kind to my parents but also i can be a real pain but i love them with all of my heart and also i do stuff for them that they need me to do and get them stuff that they cant get for there self's cause i'm tall.

Nye is responsible she has to walk 16 hours a day just to get some water and train her little sister if thats not responsibility i  don't know what is.

Salva is sympathetic for his friend who just passed away.

Me scared that ill have to work for the rest of my life in a dead end job because society sucks.

Paragraph 1

The best character trait I would give Nya from the book "A Long Walk To Water" is hard working. I say this because through out the book, Nya is always working for her family and getting resources for them to stay alive. I know this because if you are going out your way for your family to stay strong and alive by getting resources then your hard working no doubt.

The best character trait I would give Salva is dependent. I say this because through out the book Salva has always been with someone and depends on other people to stay safe. I know this because if you don't do good without people and you relied on people for your safety then your dependent. 

Paragraph 3

The best character trait I would give myself would be Hard working. I say this because I love to play sports when i'm playing sports I put in 110% effort and try my hardest when competing. Also I go to the gym so I can prepared for any sport I want to play and can succeed as an athlete.

          Nya is a hard worker and does not stop everyday everyday she fetches water for her family everyday and it takes her about 1 to 2 hours everyday just for her family and there is people that are out there that are fetching water or trying to kill because thats the water resource.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Salva is a survivor because his friend died to a lion and uncle got killed by a tribe and salva been stranded on a desert for a hot minute and he been threw all of that and now he found a camp that can help him live and so on.                                                                                                                                                                                        Caring because i always help people that need help and im there for people whenever like my sister was having troubles in school im there for her so she can talk about her problems and try to help her.

    A word to describe Nya is Determined. I chose this word because every time she goes to get the water she stays determined to get it for her family through the whole trip.  Nya is determined to keep her and her family healthy and safe. In the Novel it says the walk is eight hours long. It's also very dangerous to be around the other tribes. Plus she's only around 11 which is surprising.
 
    A good character trait for Salva is Patient. Salva is very patient with his future. He's persistant in his search for something like a safe place or somewhere peaceful. He's also patient on finding his parents and will wait for awhile before he gives up on them. Salva's also persistant in making it out of this war even though he's lost everything and one.

    A word to describe me is independent. A time i was independent was when my friends were all fighting so i went and did stuff by myself. I played the game by myself and i stayed my phone more. It helped me in the end though cause i learned how to be by myself and keep to myself.I also hung out with my little siblings more and that's good.
